T'was the night before Christmas, and all through the house...

zeroman64 opened up the door to the living room, dressed in flannel pajamas and a black Santa cap. He stared at the scene before him, and facepalmed with a sigh. A cartoonish dust cloud of fighting had formed in the house again, this time in front of the fireplace. He easily picked out Alexis' voice, but another female voice caught his attention, forcing him to stay and try to mediate.
The big ball of fighting soon ceased, revealing a triumphant Alexis and a blonde teenaged girl. Both wore female Santa outfits, consisting of red skirts decked with white fur, complete with Santa caps perched on their heads. The main difference between Alexis and the girl was that

I held my breath as I slowly opened the back door into the administrative section of the Warehouse. Peering into the open, I saw that nobody was there, and breathed a sigh of relief. My dad had received reports of strange people scouting out this place, and I... happened to overhear him on the phone. After a bit of planning, and a quick text to Becky, I was at the docks in a heartbeat, ready to wring out some kind of truth from this place.
So far, I haven't seen anything, but that was most likely due to how I had to enter from the back in order to ensure the lowest chance of being seen, by guards or otherwise. So far, it seemed to be working out for me, thanks to the lack of being spotted, not to mention the odd lack of people in general. It was honestly a bit nerve-wracking. I wiped my brow and wiped it on my brown skirt.

It was an impressive sunset scenery with the evening dusk above the setting sun as it floated atop the waters of the port, another quiet ending for a day in Vale, and people were more than glad that it was one of those days. Recent events were starting to escalate, what started out as simple robberies and criminal groups fighting with each other had somehow turned to a dangerous scene with a large walker prototype rampaging after a group of students from Beacon earlier this week.
But as expected, the city was stronger than that, and the situation had all but become another rumor, and the hard-working residents were back about the streets before long. Some were never even scared away at all, such as one student who relied too heavily on the unpicked fruits of the city to be deterred.
